  • The Zero-Application Reality: In a world of “apply and pray,” my career is an anomaly. I have never been hired for a role I applied for. From my first break at Belva (scouted via a Google+ post) to being poached for BitPesa, and even returning to AZA via a direct line to the CEO, every major career leap has been inbound.
  • The Founder Bypass Strategy: The most telling example? A recruiter ignored my application. I didn’t beg; I just continued being present and optimised on LinkedIn. The Founder found my profile and reached out directly on LinkedIn, and hired me.
    • The Lesson: Traditional channels (HR/Applications) are gatekeepers. Executive Visibility is the key to bypassing them and speaking directly to decision-makers (without spamming their inboxes!).
